A Visit To Taiwan

It was the end of the day at school, I and some of the students in my class went to go visit Taiwan, my friend, in the hospital.  We were all excited to see him. We got our bags and waited for Mrs Tui.  While we were waiting, we wandered through the hallway looking at the class photo’s.

Finally Mrs Tui’s meeting was over.  We squashed through Mrs Tui’s little car and off we went.  While we were waiting to get there, Mrs Tui turned up the volume and we all listened to music.

Finally we arrived to the hospital, we were feeling very happy to see him.  We went to the Auckland Hospital to buy balloons and flowers for Taiwan.  We brought all the stuff and went to Starship.

Once we arrived, we didn't know what ward he was in. We asked the nurse for his Ward and she responded that he was in Level 5, Ward 9.  Eventually we found the ward, he was so happy to see us. Christopher said a little prayer before we started to talk to him. We give him the flowers and balloons. We had a little talk to him about his legs.

Sadly we had to say goodbye. I was very sad to say goodbye to a good friend.

Mahe Drysdale Presentation

This Week we have been work on a presentation about our new olympian. We all get to do different olympian. My group has been working on Mahe Drysdale. Blues have being working on Valerie Adams, Yellows has Been working on Andrew Nicholson and green has being working on Sarah Walker. This what I have did about Mahe Drysdale. 

Pigeon Impossible.

Plot: Once there were a secret agent named Walter. His job is to take a suitcase to his boss While he was going to his boss’ with his donut he stopped and had a look inside. Suddenly a pigeon appeared and wanted Walter’s donut so Walter took a small piece and he threw it to the ground. The pigeon stood there but he wanted the whole donut so he went to attack Walter and Walter push the pigeon and the pigeon flies into the suitcase. The pigeon didn’t know what was in the suitcase so he tried to push the red button but he couldn’t but his body touch the button which moves the suitcase and Walter went to get the suitcase but the suitcase moved and moved then the pigeon touched the button which was the fire button. When the pigeon push it laser came out so Walter went to hide next to the shop and the pigeon shoot laser everywhere and one laser nearly hit Walter so the pigeon got a massive and he shoot it and it hit a car and it was on fire. The pigeon hit the fly button and it flies everywhere and the laser too. The pigeon turn and went after Walter and Walter run as fast as he could and the pigeon shoot the laser out and Walter jumped to the ground and the pigeon didn’t went after him again so he went for the other people. Walter found the donut and he stood up and he went to the car that was on fire and he put the donut up and the pigeon went after it and then Walter throwed the donut and it the red button so the Walter got the suitcase but the tower came down and a rocket showed up and it went up and it was going to Russia. So Walter got the suitcase he flew all the way up where the rocket was and bird came and Walter threw the donut down and Walter got a missile out and he shot it and it hit the rocket and Walter came down and saw the pigeon eating the donut as the rocket came down onto the pigeon and the pigeon was dead.

 Problem: The pigeon wanted the donut and the bomb was going to Russia.


Solution: Walter shot the missile out of his suitcase and it hit the rocket and blew it up.

Your opinion of the story: My opinion of the short movie is that it was great because Walter is a secret agent and his job was to take the suitcase to his boss but the pigeon wanted his donut but then Walter figured it out that the pigeon wanted the whole donut.

Tom and the Dragon

Once there were a young boy named Tom. One day Tom asked his mother “Can I go down to the pier to play?’’ “Certainly, but I have to warn you, there is a dragon.” The dragon has big sharp teeth and claws. When the dragon tells you to play chess never ever say yes, because when you beat him he will open his mouth and fire will come out of and you are dead. After you beat him in chess the dragon will ask you to play with you never ever say yes because if you do and you beat him more fire will come out and his dinner will be you. If the dragon asks you if you want to fly with him say no because if you say yes the dragon will tell you to open your eyes and look down and he will turn upside down and eat you in one bite”.

After Tom’s mum had finished telling all about the dragon Tom went down the pier and he saw the dragon in tears. Tom went up to the dragon. He was scared because his mother told him that a boy would get two swords and he would slice him. When the dragon saw Tom he was not scared they were friends so they went to the beach and played together and Tom’s mum and the dragon’s mother talked and talked.

Stellaluna

                           

Fruit Bats can be found in almost every part of the world except where it is very, very hot and really cold. Some of the bats live in trees, caves, mines, bridges and bat houses. Some bats eat fruit like mango just like Stellaluna in the book. Stellaluna likes to eats pollen from flowers too. Bats have a tail, forearm, two big ears, wings, four fingers and a thumb.

My opinion

My opinion of this movie is great because they did cool stuff. When they were dancing and their costumes were glowing in the dark they were blue and yellow. When they were presenting on stage there was two boys in the air.

Extraordinary Earthworms

Apples Again

This week I read a story about a boy who writes letters and puts them in boxes of apples that his family ship around the world. I tried to write my own letter like him.

Dear Friend

My name is Frank I am 9 years old, I live in New Zealand it can be cold and hot in Auckland. I go to Saint Pius X school. Our school is a Catholic school. Our school is a Holy School. Our school has a emblem it has a cross,waves, sun, land, and the earth.

In Saint Pius we don’t push or Punch and we don’t bully in Saint Pius. I hope you like the apples.
