This week for R.E. I have been learning about the Sacrament's. I have been working to know heaps about the Eucharist sacrament.

Lectio Divina

Today in R.E I have learnt Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina is a type of traditional prayer that has prayerful reading. Here is my Lectio Divina prayer.

Dear God,

I would like to thank you forgiving me for all the bad things I have done. I ask that you may help me to forgive those around me. AMEN

Lectio Divina is a prayer that helps me a lot. It has taught me a different way to pray.

Holy Spirit Prayer

Dear Holy Spirit,

May you bless my family, friends and everyone around the globe. May you give strengths to the poor and those who are sick. I ask you also to look after the people in are hurt in Nepal. I would like to thank you for guiding me and my friends through tough times.

A voice is heard, while the sky was opened.

An amazing scene takes place here at the river Jordan, while Jesus was being baptised. This took part during the afternoon. A voice was heard, the sky opened and a dove was seen. The people who were there to witness were amazed and scared.

Church

Today I will be writing about a special place called a Church. Church is the place of God and Jesus. You also celebrate special events like Christmas, Easter, New Years, Lent and many other special events

A Church is a special because it’s where you got baptized and had your first Holy Communion. When you're baptized that when you're part of that Church. A Church is a special place for Catholic and Christians.

In a church you see Catholics and Christians worshiping, singing and praying to God and his son Jesus. You will see Father handing out the bread and the wine. You will also see altar Serves helping father.

You can find Churches in Catholic schools, and other places.

A Church is special to me and and maybe special to you. I hope you go to the Church that near you. And I hope you understand why Church is a special place to go.

Thankful

I am thankful for the food we eat and when we come to school. I also thankful for the shelter.
I can show I am thankful by giving the homeless clothes,food and money.
